A photograph does not do this fish justice. The golden skin almost glowed in the fading light.

Brown Trout

I made the log!. It takes a 20 incher to get your name on the log. I finally got my big one just as darkness started to shade the Bitterroot valley. He took a small Adams floated about 20 feet in front of the boat. We were drifting in about 4 feet of water and this Brown was feeding on a small seam about 10 feet from the bank. He hit hard and tried to get under a log right off the bat. John maneuvered the boat to the bank and we got out to finish the battle. With John's expert guidance I got the trout close and John slid the net underneath him. My hands were shaking as my quest for the big Brown was fufilled.
