Breakfast is at 8:00am at Backdoor Outfitters. I could smell the coffee and bacon before I even fully woke up. It was just the incentive I needed to crawl from my cozy bed.

John explained our options for the day. We wanted a chance to get into a few big fish and maybe even a Brown. The temperature was dropping fast, but the rivers had not dropped much yet. John said our best bet was a place called Warm Springs. About 100 miles east of Missoula, Warm Springs is the headwaters for the Clark Fork. We agreed and after we devoured Pat's awesome breakfast we were off.
