After Backdoor Outfitters had been in business for a couple years, it was obvious; it was time to build another cabin. So, deciding to combine our needs for more sleeping space, with another need we were feeling (the need to provide a fly shop – ‘possibles’ store) we built the ‘Clark Fork’.
The Clark Fork was designed to sleep three or four adults… with room left over. With a queen and two twin, lodge pole framed beds, there is ample room for our guests to enjoy a solid night sleep following a long day on the river. Of course, once one lays down and tucks their head up against their pillows; there is always a concern they might just oversleep the next morning. If one does happen to sleep in, don’t worry. Grab a quick shower in your spacious bathroom, and head over to the main lodge for breakfast… there is always plenty… and we keep Montana time anyway.
As with all of our cabins, the Clark Fork is equipped with a micro-wave, refrigerator, barbecue, and coffee pot, as well as kitchen facilities in the main lodge, for those wishing to ‘dine in’. And, with several nice restaurants nearby… some of which actually deliver… dining options are as varied as one’s imagination.
In addition to having its own free standing wood stove (all cabins also have electric heat) because the Clark Fork adjoins the Backdoor Outfitters private, guests only, ‘fly shop’ and our 8 x 15, wet or dry sauna, guests staying in the Clark Fork seem to spend more time in the sauna than some of the other cabins.
You are cordially invited to come and spend a few nights in the ‘Clark Fork’ cabin. Enjoy all the privacy and comforts of home, while surrounding by the beauty of the Rocky Mountains.
